GOP Big Head Election, Gaza Intensity

So we have six boring males debating and sniping at each other because they want to be voted in as the next Big Head of the GOP. They are doing this in public because they want to show how open and transparent they are. Unfortunately, they expose how petty and shallow minded they really are, jabbering the same old, tired ideas and calling them the true Republican ideals.

I liken the situation with the Republican Party as similar to the one inside of Iran: the younger generation is just waiting for those close-minded, brain-dead old fossils to die off so that they can take over and have a chance to join the rest of the world...

If you have been waiting for an in depth view on what is going on inside of the Gaza strip, you'll be waiting until its all over. There are some Israeli journalists embedded with the IDF, but the rest of the reporters have not been allowed in, they remain amassed on the border. A couple of major media outlets have Palestinian correspondents that they can call, but so far all that they have gotten is oh god, there's bombs falling all around here! Except for Joe the Plumber, our new war reporter, who has the butt-crack view on things: " Why hasn't Israel acted sooner?" Wurzelbacher asked. "I know if I were a citizen here, I'd be damned upset."

He described himself as a "peaceloving man," but added, "when someone hits me, I'm going to unload on the boy. And if the rest of the world doesn't understand that, then I'm sorry."

The Israelis are stepping up their invasion, but it's very slow going. Hamas has transformed the urban landscape into a giant booby-trap, with many tunnels under schools and hospitals where they can hide and pop out and shoot a grenade or two. Humans are used as shields as much as possible, often putting them on rooftops to discourage planes from dropping bombs. Again, with half of the population under the age of 18, most of the civilians getting hut and killed are children.

Israel hasn't said what it will be doing with Gaza after they are done. Probably retreat and do nothing else for the people living there. It's been a problem for Israel for over 40 years, which they have mostly ignored. Just as the native Palestinians have resented the European Israelis for taking over and occupying the land and calling it their homeland, now the Israelis resent the Palestinians for being there first and wanting basic human rights. I guess citizenship is out of the question... I'm not sure if even Egypt would take their land back. Maybe we can all blame it on the British and their crappy land partitions they imposed after WW11.
