State of the Union was a Little Trashy, Given by the President's Proxy

Did you watch Donald Trump's State of the Union speech? Otherwise known as Stephen Miller's Coming Out Party... Stephen is one of Donald's speech writers, and is usually behind the vitriolic and anti-immigration stances that our President is so fond of. Stephen grew up in the Peoples Republic of Santa Monica, and was bullied throughout his school years, giving him a sheen of hostility to all things liberal. He has been jockeying for greater influence behind the throne ever since Steve Bannon left to drink himself to death...

Donald stuck to the script and read from the teleprompter and gave a workman-like performance, keeping within the framework of past State of the Union speeches. For the first half...

The second half was devoted to immigration, making promises that he probably won't keep, hey I never said that, and also promising to round up some street gang, which will give Jeff Sessions another way to suck up to the prez... Every few minutes throughout the speech, there was a humanitarian break, where Donald would introduce someone who risked their lives to help combat a natural disaster, which was actually very nice. Until he introduced a grieving black family, who's two daughters were murdered by the street gang MS-13, and it became uncomfortable watching the pain on their faces just so Donald could make some brownie points with his imaginary black or Latino base voters...

The other person who has been making appearances and making utterances for the White House, is

John Kelly. He is supposed to keep a low profile, but he is another anti-immigration advocate, and if Donald is going to be wishy washy about the fate of the Dreamers, then John and Stephen will step in to fill the void for the media. When he first took the job as Chief of Staff, he was complemented for bringing some order to the chaos among the staffers. But now he's demonstrating why Admirals and Generals make bad politicians: because they aren't very smart and they are used to everyone doing whatever they say without questioning...

A story that hasn't been reported yet in the US, but will have major impact throughout the world, is China has decided to stop taking in trash from other countries, beginning right now. They had been taking 80% of the trash produced by some countries, and has already caused a major build up in places like Ireland. Look to some poor country being invaded just so it can be transformed into the world's next landfill...

We already have huge amounts of trash floating in our oceans, one pile in the Pacific is larger than the state of Texas, and nobody is doing much more than monitoring the situation. So, civilization may come to an end, not by fire or ice, but from being buried under the tons of waste we produce every day...

Lastly FEMA has announced that it will no longer deliver humanitarian aid like food and fresh water to Puerto Rico, they will have to live on the paper towels that Donald Trump gave them. Perhaps, after we have let all of the people on the island die off, we can use it for our next trash landfill...
